Luminanda Personal Retreats are designed to be life-affirming and life-changing short immersions for busy people. We co-create a sacred, intimate, soothing, playful, and safe space to dive deep, and surface with fresh perspectives, sustainable practices, and renewed commitments to greater well-being, whatever that looks like for you.
Therapeutic, but not therapy. Relaxing, but not a spa. Engaging, but not a social occasion. Solitude, but not isolation.
Let's conspire to create a sanctuary of reflection and inspiration here on Bainbridge Island nestled in the heart of the Salish Sea. Depending on your particular needs and intentions, we may cozy up with a cuppa,' stroll through big trees, meditate at a local labyrinth, or share some yoga on a beach.
Whatever we dream up for you, our time together will be designed to soothe your senses, warm your heart, clear your mind, and lift your spirit with gentle nudges, guided practices, and conversational sparks.
Plus, plenty of time for you to enjoy your own company and solitary pursuits.

WHERE IT HAPPENS
Stay as my guest at my* Bainbridge Island home, a country farmhouse in Eagledale, just a ten-minute drive or taxi from the ferry, and within walking distance to Eagle Harbor, Pritchard Park, and Eagledale Park.
Plan to arrive at 1pm the day of your scheduled retreat, and depart at 11am the following day.**
The guest room features hardwood floors, big windows, high ceilings, and peek-a-boo views of Eagle Harbor. You have a private full bath with marble floors, pedestal sink and claw-foot tub/shower for your exclusive use during your stay, as well as access to a private lounge, wrap-around porch, and residential garden.
I will have coffee, tea, and light refreshments available. For dining, the Island offers a variety of restaurants, pubs, and cafes that I can recommend. The Town & Country Market, conveniently located in downtown Winslow on the way from the ferry, has a great selection of ready-made meals and sundries. You’re also welcome to store your very own pre-made yummy meals in the mini-frig in your room, and dine al fresco in the garden.
*Please note that husband and dog live here too, so if you're allergic to dogs (or husbands), or you'd simply prefer to stay in total privacy, you are welcome to book this retreat and arrange overnight accommodations elsewhere.
**For those of you who would prefer alternative dates or timeframes, other personal retreats may be arranged, depending on availability. Please ask for what your heart desires, and I will see what I can do.
A Bit About Bainbridge Island
